Turning Downloads into Dollars with Microstock Photography
Ellen Boughn; Foreword by Andres Rodriguez. On Sale 8/24/2010
From the back cover:

The booming young microstock industry has made it possible for amateur photographers – previously shut out of exclusive stock photography – to show and sell their images. Here, microstock guru Ellen Boughn offers expert advice to help those already using microstock to gain an edge, as well as introduce the millions of Flickr users obsessing with posting and sharing photos to the added bonus of dollars per download.
ELLEN BOUGHN has worked in stock photography for more than 30 years, with experience in nearly every facet of the industry. In 1976, she founded the innovative stock agency, After-Image, which is now part of Getty Images. She was until recently director of content and business development at Dreamstime, the world’s third highest-grossing agency, where she wrote a popular blog. She has also served as executive director at Corbis, vice president at UpperCut images, Artville, and Punchstock.com; and senior vice president of visual content at SuperStock. Ellen is a frequent panel member and speaker, and has lectured the past three years at PhotoPlus Expo. She can be found at www.ellenboughn.com
ANDRES RODRIGUEZ (Foreword) is one of the world’s top microstock contributors. A self-taught photographer, he receives over 30,000 downloads each month.
