Great concept, and it really is what's missing in so many businesses today. Instead of being scared and willing to grab whatever business walks through your door, you need to have a goal, a purpose first. It's not always about photography. It should also have a broader scale. Instead of showcasing your wedding photography, how can you become a wedding expert, and help people with your expertise? Instead of showcasing your travel photography, how can you use your traveling expertise to help others make the most out of a vacation? Today's tools allow you to do that - and more. Have fun with it.

"Authentic marketing for photographers" is a benefit of using blogs, websites, social media, etc. that many of us photographers haven't yet seen the value of, in my opinion. Learning how to use it scares many of us from taking a look to see how it might work for us. Also, unfortunately, too many of us photographers 'hide' behind our digital infrastructure and fail to keep the 'authentic' person-to-person experience of good photography.

Very good post, in my opinion. More of us photographers will do well in the future by following the advice that you offer in your post.

Thanks
